Rebecca Shewmaker is an artist living and working the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex. She received her Bachelor of Arts in Art History and Visual Arts from Rice University magna cum laude in 2006, where she was the recipient of numerous awards, including Christine Croneis Sayres Memorial Visual Art award and the Frank Lee Berry, Jr. Award in Art History.  Currently a third-year MFA Painting student at Texas Woman’s University in Denton, Rebecca has served as the Instructor of Record for Art Appreciation, Watercolor, and Basic Drawing classes.
