Palo Duro Canyon

I visited Palo Duro Canyon for the first time almost two years ago and have revisited several times since. It is a very special place for innumerable reasons. For me, the colors bring me back. The stripes of reds, purples, creams, and oranges in the rocks are decorated with every shade of green and yellow plant life. The canyons drift into atmospheric blue in the distance. It’s a landscape artist’s ideal subject.
